This app almost does nothing. You can not select filters or anything. Its pretty much one style and then move on. Dont spend money on this as there are other better apps like retica

What the heck... This app worked once, then as others have described, when taking a picture or importing an existing picture it just spins FOREVER! Fix or refund please.

The final output is quite good, very impressive. However, in one of my favorite shots the focal point changed when I saved the image, ruining it. This shouldnt happen. I consider it a bug. If I could fix it by tapping the preferred point after shooting Id give it 5 stars.

I love what this app can do with my photos. Ive been a long-time fan of Hipstamatic. I would give it 5 stars if the following improvements were made: 1. An actual button that randomizes the frames instead of having to shake my phone. 2. A variety of plate grain patterns. Right now, all my photos are beginning to look the same. 3. Focus and exposure controls on the camera (this is definitely not a deal breaker given that I can import photos). 4. Ability to reframe a square crop. As it is, it just crops in the dead center of the photo. Having said all of that, its still enormously fun to work with.

Overall the app does a good job creating the tin type look but some of the features need more work. The feature to make the eyes stand out makes the eyes stand out too much. The "depth of field" control needs to the ability to be resized and moved around. There is also no contrast adjustment. Different options for cropping would be nice too.

It just hangs when its processing an image on my iPhone 6. I love Hipstamatic which is great, but this is unacceptable.

This app hasnt worked since I bought it. Wont import pics nor will it take photos. Too bad bc it looked like a cool app.

My pictures wont load. Wait forever and it still wont load. Thanks for nothing.

I have updated this app and still it cannot upload or take photos. The app just sits with the pinwheel of death spinning. I love Hipstamatic so I had high hopes for this app but sadly it doesnt deliver.

This app is really cool! I use it on my ipad but when i go to save it crashes no matter what setting I choose :(

I had much higher hopes for this app. The hype definitely didnt equal the final product.

Coming from Hipstamatic I thought there would be more features to play with. Very limited in what you can do. If it was a freebie I wouldnt complain.

Yeah as my title says I REALLY like this app and wish it had full resolution so that I could print these images in a larger format. I dont mind that it basically does one thing. To me I like the simplicity of that. I encourage Hipstamatic to think bigger with this app and make it a more serious portrait app with larger file size and where the focus on the eyes could be moved to wherever the photographer wanted it in the frame.

Such a waste of money. The editing options are so limited, this app should be free. There are only three options for color filters and one frame. So disappointed.

Just bought this app and found it have no updates for a long time.

Its the most basic photo editing app. I had high hopes because I love Hipstamatic. Deleted this app 5 minutes after installing. Bye bye $0.99.

Hipstamatic is without a doubt one of the best camera apps on the App Store. Even some brilliant photographers recommend it! TinType is easily my favorite when it comes to taking LoFi photos on my iPhone. Ive always been a huge fan of this type of photography. Sadly, its not the most practical way to shoot. Not any more! You see, this app right here allows you to take stunning Tintype looking photos where ever you are! If youre a fan of incredibly old school photography styles, this is for you.

Try to take a photo, app never gets beyond spinning progress animation. Wholly useless as is.

Oh never mind, it hurts to laugh at this point. This TinType app should have been a slam-dunk for the HipstaKids, but... Que the sad trombone and crickets. TinType wouldnt be worth wasting even a tertiary glance save the ongoing theme to all the Hipstaapps, once you get past the mustache wax and smug self-importance, they all have a redeeming quality that deserves your time and attention if only the chief Hipsta had less hair betwix nose and gums and more downstairs where it counts. Fix your HipstaHouse already. Make.Your.Apps.Work.

Stick to the original hipstamatic app. This 1 needs alotta work.
